The theme for this year's Summer Reading Challenge is Animal Agents
Coming to our library this summer, look out for the Animal Agents! It's a detective agency manned by all kinds of clever animals - furry, scaly and slippery - and these guys are out to crack the case with a little help from their friends.
As you read books on the Summer Reading Challenge, you will receive a host of stickers, some with mysterious smells. By collecting the stickers on your collector folder, you will help the Animal Agents find out what's really been going on behind the scenes!
Animal Agents is a must for all eagle-eyed kids and will test their skills and ingenuity along the way. With the Agents on their side, solving these mysteries comes with a large helping of fun!
To sign up register at the desk and receive your Animal Agents folder. The Summer Reading Challenge starts on Saturday, 15th July, and is open to children aged 12 and under.

On Thursdays we run two sessions of Sing Song Time, 10 - 10:30am and 10:45 to 11:15am. Sing Song Time is a first library activity for under threes and their carers.  The aim is for the children to join in the singing, as well as have fun. We sing familiar songs every week and the children are encouraged to join in both the music and movement, gradually building up their confidence.

On Tuesday we run Story / Song Time from 10:15 to 10:45am. We welcome toddlers and their carers into a warm, friendly group. We provide rhythm and rhyme making activities alongside both new and familiar songs, and an introduction into the world of exciting and boundless stories beyond home provision.

***AUGUST The last Story time will be on Tuesday 25th July. It  will restart on Tuesday5th September. Sing Song time will continue on Thursdays throughout August ***

Come and join us for some fun with your little ones !
